Introduce you the JVC GC-PX10 camera with still and video capture

Following Sony, JVC went into the world of hybrid gadgets on October 3 with its GC-PX10 camcorder, which looks like camera. It is capable of taking both still and video footage at the same time.

Intend to know more features about the updated JVC GC-PX10, please read the following article, hope it can give you some useful information.

In shape, it actually looks a little bit like a Sony NEX interchangeable lens camera with a huge lens mounted on the front, however, the JVC GC-PX10 has 12x optical zoom lens. Now, let's first have quick view of highlights in the PX10.

1. Records full HD-resolution video at 1920x1080 at 60p.
2. Several options for still-photo burst modes: 60 frames per second at 8 megapixels or 30 fps at 12 megapixels.
3. Capture an 8-megapixel still photo while simultaneously recording full HD video.
4. Has a 300-fps “super slow motion” video mode (at 640 x 480 VGA resolution).
5. Includes a 10x optical zoom lens.

After review on its video capture specification, you will find it can shoot full HD video in 1080p MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 (MP4) at 36Mbps, the PX10 can also capture 50 frames per second in continuous mode — though there is no information on whether this is at full 12-megapixel resolution. Though the footage MP4 file format is very popular and common in our daily life, it may still has some possible troubles in video playback on some portable devices like iPod Touch, iPhone, etc for its 1080p high-resolution video.
How to resolve the issue? Convert the 1080p MP4 file to SD video format should be a way out. Have to mention, it should sacrifice the original video quality. And it seems no better solution for tackle the problem. Anyway, I would like introduce several practical programs to all of you.
