How to send iPad 2 videos to Airplay for playback on ATV?

Airplay makes it easy to stream video or music from Apple devices like iPad 2, iPhone 4, iPod Touch, to ATV for watching on HDTV. Have to say, it is better for sharing funny movies with others in the room. But, you may notice that not all the video source can be recognized by Airplay.

Video Codec: H.264 (Main Profile)
Video Bitrate: 5442kbps (anywhere between 5000 and 6000 kbps should be fine)
Video Resolution 1280×720 (also known as 720p)
Frames Per Second: 30 (or less)
Audio Codec: AAC (Low Complexity)
Audio Bitrate: 160kbps
Audio Samplerate: 48 or 44.1 kHz

Tip 2: Handbrake can accepts the following file formats as input:
VIDEO_TS, Matroska (MKV), ISO image (ISO), Video Object (VOB), Audio Video Interleave (AVI), MPEG-4 Part 14 (MP4), MPEG Transport Stream (TS), BDAV MPEG-2 Transport Stream (M2TS)

In the above list, you must notice, there are some other file formats that can't be included. If your source file from JVC camcorder in .mod file format or Quicktime .mov file, Windows Media video(.wmv) file format, how to do with it?

Section 2: Play iPad 2 videos via AirPlay enabled Apple TV
For preparation: Make sure that the iPad, Apple TV and Airplay device are connected to the same wireless network.
1. Connect Apple TV with HDTV, and setup the Airplay enabled Apple TV for watching HD movies.
2. Send iPad 2 video to Airplay device. Play the generate videos on iPad 2, and press "Airplay" button at the end of control bar of iPad 2. When iPad is streaming with Airplay, you can watch iPad 2 movies on HDTV with ATV.
