Have you ever edit mts file with final cut pro x?

What is mts:
The .MTS file format is an AVCHD (Advanced Video Codec High Definition) file, a video file format created specifically for high-definition (HD) digital camcorders.
The format was developed jointly by Sony and Panasonic for use in their camcorders. Support for the format has grown and is now supported by Canon, JVC and Sanyo video camcorders.
The format itself is based on the popular MPEG4 video codec and supports both 1080i and 720p video modes.
As this format is fairly new, video editing tools to edit and convert this format are only just starting to add support for this file type. For example,AVCHD Converter for mac.
And how much you know about final cut pro X?
On June 21, 2011, Apple released a new version of Final Cut Pro, renamed to "Final Cut Pro X", heavily based on iMovie (leading some users to call it "iMovie Pro"). Described as a complete rewrite of the original application, FCP X is a 64-bit application with Grand Central Dispatch and OpenCL support, allowing it to scale and use all available cores for background rendering.
Features:
1. Magnetic timeline
A magnetic timeline allows clips now automatically slide in place of gaps. Clips are also now connected to each other; when one clip is moved, the other clip(s) move in sync with the original clip moved.
2.Multicam
The multicam tool was released in version 10.0.3 released. It now supports up to 64 angles of photos and videos. It also automatically aligns footage based on time of day, timecode, markers, or audio waveforms, individually or in various customizable combinations, all of which surpasses previous methods.
3. Compound Clips
Compound clips is a new feature to Final Cut Pro X that allows multiple video and audio clips to be combined into one for simplicity.
4. Merged Clips
A process of taking mulitiple video and audio clips, then creating a new Compound Clip containing them all, which synchronizes them by comparing audio so that audio recorded on one device and video (also containing audio) recorded on another device can be merged. This is especially useful for those producing with DSLR video cameras.
5.Database Engine
The former Final Cut Server engine database engine has been incorporated into Final Cut Pro X, handling media and metadata management, helping to organize clips quickly with more extensive and customizable metadata abilities then previously done.
6.Additional features
As updates continue, FCP X has added features called broadcast monitoring output, Roles, Media Stem output, clip skimming, deinterlace setting for clips and XML support.
