Flash video (especially FLV) are widely applied in online video sharing for its smart size. However, to iPad 2 owners, it is really a ruin. It is impossible to play flash SWF games or YouTube FLV movies on iPad 2. Anyway, in the article, I would like to share several ways with you and hope it can help you.
Three solutions are given to you. Choose one as you like.
Solution One: Use Skyfire as browser rather than its default Safari

About Skyfire:
SkyFire browser can take any flash video from any web page and convert it in seconds to an HTML5-based video, so you can watch the flash source content on iPad 2. The SkyFire can supports more than 200,000 websites and new ones are added daily. It is a paid application, which charges you $2.99 and can be downloaded in iTunes.
However, it has its shortcomings: about 20 seconds for loading video, only support flash video watching, can't play flash games and flash application.
Solution Two: Jailbreak your iPad 2
Solution Three: Convert Flash Video to iPad 2
In fact, here is still another way for you to enjoy flash video on iPad 2: transcoding Flash video format to H.264 for iPad 2. Flash video to iPad Converter for Mac has such function. It can easily convert Flash Video to play on iPad 2. What's more, there is an optimal preset output selection for iPad device.
Note: The Flash SWF to iPad conversion program is a desktop program, which can't be directly installed in iPad 2. So it's a must for you to have computer on hand. According to which operating system your computer runs(Mac or Windows OS) , there are two versions available: Mac Flash SWF to iPad Converter (for Mac OS only) and Flash FLV to iPad Converter.
The application is very simple-to-handle and only several mouse clicks are enough to finish the whole job: After install the program, click "Add File" to load the flash video(s), choose the output format(choose iPad option), hit "START" to launch the conversion. Don't forget one more step: transfer the output file to iTunes, then sync with iPad 2.
