Edit mts file with final cut pro x and imoive

See some questions bellow:
1. AVCHD files for Macbooks are tedious on Final Cut Pro?
I bought a macbook pro mostly for the purpose of editing media and using Final Cut Pro. The problem is that my video camera is high definition, thus using AVCHD. This file type does not seem to be native to macbooks. I would normally just end up converting the files through Toast into the appropriate type, which is both time consuming and killing the quality of it. Is there any easier way to put these types of files easily into Final Cut Pro? I tried to use the Log and Transfer, but it doesn't read any of the files on my SD Card. Any help would be appreciated.
Solution: Doremisoft AVCHD to FCP Converter can help you to convert AVCHD files into FCP supported video file DV so that you can easily import avchd to final cut pro and edit AVCHD files with FCP free.
2. Can't import Panasonic HDC-TM900 AVCHD to FCP X?
When I purchased Final Cut Pro X from App Store, it was supposed to support AVCHD video files directly. But I can't import my MTS videos from Panasonic TM900 into FCP X, why?
Solution: If you happen to have difficulty in importing MTS files to Final Cut Pro X, never mind. All you need is a AVCHD Converter for mac which will easily convert MTS files to Final Cut Pro X compatible formats (like MPEG-4, MOV, MPEG-1, DV, or 3GP). After converted, you can import Panasonic HDC-TM900 MTS to Final Cut Pro X for editing.
3. How can you make .MTS videos open in IMovie?
I just got a bunch of game clips on to a passport and now want to put them on to my computer to edit in IMovie for my team, but they are greyed out when I go to open them. What do I do?
Solution:
Three possible reasons:
1. Check out your Mac processor. If yours is older version of Intel-based, you may failed in importing mts to imovie, for older version of Inter-based Mac can't support AVCHD MTS file.
2. Confirm whether the MTS file is in original structure. If yes, you can import them into iMovie'11.
3. The third situation, though your Mac runs on OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard or above and the MTS files is raw one, the MTS file still grey out when try to import into iMovie.
No matter what situation you are in Doremisoft MTS to iMovie Converter can effortlessly convert M2TS or mts to mov or MP4 for iMovie (iMovie'11 included). Then, load the generated files into iMovie with ease.
4. What format converter can convert MTS files to other formats, you can edit with Windows Movie Maker? Thank you?
Solution: Doremisoft mts to wmv Converter is specially designed to convert MTS to Windows Media Video and other multimedia formats as well like AVI, MPEG4, FLV, etc.
