Share HD videos from JVC GZ-HD3 camcorder on Facebook

Have a lot of JVC .tod files but confused at how to upload them to Facebook on Mac OS X? First, get some background information about JVC TOD video and the camcorder models that capture such kinds of file format.

Unlike MOD, TOD is used for high definition files, which is stored in MPEG transport stream container files with TOD extension.

The camcorder TOD models are as the following:
2007: GZ-HD7 (HDD, SD/SDHC), GZ-HD3 (HDD, SD/SDHC)
March 2008: GZ-HD5 (HDD, MicroSD), GZ-HD6 (HDD, MicroSD)
June 2008: GZ-HD30, GZ-HD40 (HDD, MicroSD, capable of both TOD and AVCHD recording) from Wikipedia.

We all know that the best format to upload is H.264 video with AAC audio in MOV or MP4 format and Keep the frame rate of your video at or below 30fps. In order to get the optimal video quality, it would be advisable that convert TOD to MOV or MP4 for excellent show.

Here is how to convert TOD file from JVC GZ-HD3 camcorder to Facebook on Mac.

Step 1: Load JVC GZ-HD3 TOD video to the TOD to Facebook Converter for Mac.
