Do you like the Japanese manga of Naruto?

Naruto is an ongoing Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. The plot tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, an adolescent ninja who constantly searches for recognition and dreams to become the Hokage, the ninja in his village who is acknowledged as the leader and the strongest of all. The series is based on a one-shot comic by Kishimoto that was published in the August 1997 issue of Akamaru Jump.
There are two result comes from Naruto:
1. Anime/manga fan will look up for new series and found out about other series that's better than Naruto. Which is why they consider Naruto is kiddish, lame, repetitive or such.
2. Self proclaimed anime.manga fan will be blinded by Naruto. That's where they got the term Narutards. They don't watch a lot of anime to begin with. Most of them start off with Naruto, which is why they consider Naruto is the best shounen anime out there.
Review:The story is about a 12 year old named Naruto who is fighting for acknowledgement from his villagers and more. When he was just an infant, the 4th Hokage sealed the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox (Kyuubi in sub) inside of him to protect the villagers. The sealing took the 4th's life. Now, despite the fact that the 4th wanted people to reghard him as a hero, everyone looks down on him, thinking that he is the demon fox that took there loved ones lives and ect. The kids of the village don't know about this, but they look down on Naruto too simply because everyone else does. As the story progresses, it follows Naruto's acheivments and failures as a ninja and the other characters lives too. In part two, (Naruto Shippuuden) the story plot does move slowly, but that's just because they don't have enough manga yet! Naruto is funny, sad, has lots of twists and turns, and can make you angry at times (SASUKE!!!)
I love the ideals in the Naruto world. People who were once one way can become a whole new in a instant depending on the situation. Whether for good or bad this can add to the characters depth and make you feel more for them. Shikamaru, Gaara, Hinata, Sasuke, Zabuza, Itachi, Konan and Pain are good examples. The way people die are also done very well.

Which Characters of Prince of Tennis do you like best?

The Prince of Tennis is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Takeshi Konomi. The manga was adapted into an anime series directed by Takayuki Hamana, animated by Trans Arts and co-produced by Nihon Ad Systems & TV Tokyo. The anime aired across Japan on the anime satellite television network Animax and the terrestrial TV Tokyo network from October 10, 2001 to March 30, 2005, spanning a total of 178 episodes, as well as a theatrical movie.

Prince of Tennis is the first tennis-based sports manga to arrive in the US. It's also one of the first non-basketball related sports manga to hit North American shelves. With all the publicity it has received from Shonen Jump and Viz, Prince of Tennis holds potential to become the most popular sports manga in the US. Unfortunately, the first volume doesn't bode a very promising start for the series.

Characters:
Ryoma Echizen
The protagonist of the series, Ryoma is a first year student at Seigaku Academy and the son of Nanjiro Echizen, who was formerly known as "Samurai Nanjiro" during his days as a professional tennis player. He makes his first appearance when he criticizes a high school student about his tennis knowledge in a subway. He often says "mada mada dane" to his opponents, which is directly translated as "You still have a long ways to go." in the Japanese manga. One of his nicknames is The Prince of Tennis.
Kunimitsu Tezuka
Tezuka is the captain of the tennis club and a third year student at Seigaku Academy. A National-caliber player and vice-captain the year before the series took place, Tezuka is serious about everything – one of his trademark phrases is "Don't let your guard down." Tezuka puts his captaincy of the team and its performance before anything else, including his own pursuits.
Shuichiro Oishi
Oishi is a third year student at Seigaku Academy and the vice-captain of the tennis club. Along with Eiji Kikumaru, he is part of Seigaku's "Golden Pair," a doubles team that made it to Nationals the year before the series takes place. The two are called the "Golden Pair" because of Kikumaru's athletic skills and flexibility, and Oishi's strategical mind. They know each other's actions and have a good relationships. Their trick is that they can act in a unified way. Oishi is known to care for the team very much, and was even said to care for the team twice as much as anyone on the tennis team.
Shusuke Fuji
Fuji is a third year student at Seigaku Academy who is given the title "genius" due to his tactical skill on the tennis court. Fuji is often seen with a calm and content expression on his face, with his eyes seemingly closed from lightly smiling. However, when he is excited, provoked, or when playing seriously, Fuji reveals his sharp brown eyes. Fuji's tennis is counter-style, in which he uses elements of opponents' shots to send usually nonreturnable counter return shots.
Eiji Kikumaru
Eiji Kikumaru is a third year student at Seigaku Academy and is part of the "Golden Pair," along with Shuichiro Oishi. Using his acrobatic play, he can return almost any ball, even those that seem out of human reach. Eiji is also known to have the sharpest vision on the team, with an exceptional talent for seeing fast moving objects. He is almost always seen with an energetic and cheerful disposition, even during his matches.
Takashi Kawamura
Takashi is a third year student at Seigaku Academy and, according to the manga series, this is his first year as a regular. He is a shy and a soft-spoken person off the court, though still outspoken and stubborn when he makes a decision. However, he becomes extremely aggressive and loud once he grabs a racket. This change in his personality is marked by him shouting "Burning!!!". He relies mostly on his power and aims to become the National's number one power player.
Sadaharu Inui
Inui is a third year student at Seigaku Academy. As a highly intelligent player, he plays what is called "Data Tennis," which involves collecting and analyzing data for a player in order to determine their weaknesses to the extent that he can determine the exact probability of certain shots being successful. Inui often manages the team training regimens, which usually involves contests or races of some kind, with many being forced to drink one of Inui's many infamous and poisonous juice concoctions.
Takeshi Momoshiro
Momoshiro is a second year student at Seigaku Academy, known as Seigaku's number one rascal. He is an aggressive power player who uses the court and environmental conditions to his advantage. As the player who is the most open and friendly with everyone, Momoshiro is connected to everyone on the team on some level. He becomes the vice-captain after Shuichiro Oishi graduates from Seishun Academy.
Kaoru Kaido
Kaido is a second year student at Seigaku Academy whose nickname is "Viper," which fits him well as his signature move is the "Snake Shot," a curving forehand that drains an opponent's stamina by forcing them to chase the return. He wears a bandanna and often exhales, making a sound similar to a snake. He is often remarked as the hardest trainer of the team. He becomes the captain after Tezuka Kunimitsu graduates from Seishun Academy.

What do you think about the movie of Where the Wild Things Are

Where the Wild Things Are is a 2009 American fantasy drama film directed by Spike Jonze and adapted from Maurice Sendak's 1963 children's book Where the Wild Things Are. It combines live action, performers in costumes, animatronics, and computer-generated imagery (CGI).

The film tells the story of Max, a rambunctious and sensitive boy who feels misunderstood at home and escapes to where the Wild Things are. Max lands on an island where he meets mysterious and strange creatures whose emotions are as wild and unpredictable as their actions. The Wild Things desperately long for a leader to guide them, just as Max longs for a kingdom to rule. When Max is crowned king, he promises to create a place where everyone will be happy. Max soon finds, though, that ruling his kingdom is not so easy and his relationships there prove to be more complicated than he originally thought.
Some critics have noted the movie's dark adaptation for children, such as David Denby from The New Yorker saying, "I have a vision of eight-year-olds leaving the movie in bewilderment. Why are the creatures so unhappy?" Stephanie Zacharek of Salon.com criticized the film's visual aspect, "Even the look of the picture becomes tiresome after a while — it starts to seem depressive and shaggy and tired." She also stated that "The movie is so loaded with adult ideas about childhood — as opposed to things that might delight or engage an actual child." The Globe and Mail's Liam Lacey branded the production a "self-consciously sad film."

Critic A.O. Scott placed the film at number five on his list of top ten movies of the decade.

Review and thoughts of Four Lions

Four Lions is a British black comedy. The film is a jihad satire following a group of homegrown Islamist terrorist jihadis from Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England.

A group of radicalised young Muslim English men aspire to be suicide bombers. They are Omar, the leading member who is deeply critical of Western society and imperialism; his dim-witted friend, Waj; Barry, a bad-tempered White convert to Islam; and naive Faisal, who tries to train crows to be used as bombers. While Omar and Waj go to a terrorist training camp in Pakistan, Barry recruits a reluctant fifth member, Hassan. The visit to the training camp ends in disaster, with Omar misfiring a rocket that kills fellow jihadists; however, he uses the experience to assert authority on his return to Britain.

Thought:
Four Lions is profoundly politically incorrect on its surface. Within a decade which shot Islamic terrorism to the forefront of Americans' minds, this cartoonish comedy asks us to enjoy spending time with a group of five terrorists. It almost seems like that conceit would be bound to fail in this day and age. After watching Four Lions, I'd find it hard to believe that anyone could really be offended by this film except maybe Islamic terrorists themselves who probably wouldn't be watching anyway. I imagine regular Muslims would view the characters as such bumpkins that they couldn't even see them as real people, let alone Muslims. Thus, writer/director Christopher Morris walked that difficult balance beam successfully.

On the other hand, walking that other balance beam between a good film and a bad film, Morris really struggles to find his center of gravity. From the very beginning, it's clear that nothing in the world within Four Lions actually exists in any sort of dimension rooted in logic and truth. Most of the characters are simply vessels through which aggressive one liners, comic rants and buffoonery are hurled at the audience. Some of them land quite effectively. The mastermind behind the plan for the group to blow themselves up is forced to communicate with the others through a children's chat room where everyone has an avatar of a puffin bird because he believes that the feds will never expect that. When another character's car breaks down at an inopportune time, he claims that all the parts in his car are Jew parts. Another character asks how part of a car can be Jewish. The response is that Jews made spark plugs to control global trafficking.
